THE OVERVIEW //

Dominion Tours is a Vancouver based bus tour company catering to a primarily Spanish clientele. Through their partnership with Fairmont Hotels, they are able to offer their Spanish tourists a remarkable Canadian experience.

THE BRIEF //

Design a catalogue that communicates the amazing cultural and geographical experience of Canada. Keep in mind that the audience is mostly European and have a sophisticated understanding of design.

THE SOLUTION //

A conceptual approach was chosen for the cover to represent the Canadian experience. Rather than a typical Canadian image, the concept of geography & topography was used as the mechanism to communicate Canada. A strong use of red on the cover was chosen for its logical cultural relationship to Canada and to stand out among all of the competitions pictures of tour buses. Each destination within the catalogue is showcased with large beautiful images giving a sense of how great the experience could be.
