The Brief:

In 2004 Rocky Mountain Bicycles resurrected its road bike program with a family of new racing bikes that were engineered and produced entirely in the Rocky Mountain factory in Vancouver. The entire focus of the line was to engineer the best possible road bikes with the latest technologies. The over-riding concept for the program was to focus on the interface between the the rider and the bike, and the bike and the road.

To showcase these bikes a catalogue was produced that built directly upon the interface concept. The bike designs, the bike graphics, and all elements of the catalogue – copywriting, photography, and layout, all worked to further demonstrate the unique relationship between rider and machine.
