The 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa (Translation: Red Head) recently auctioned off for 12.2 million is a car that truly exhibits the rare combination of power and elegance. The car is a work of art and a refined piece of design. The graphics are perfect and the placement of race numbers and insignias is clearly well thought out.

Only 22 of these cars were made between 1957 & 1958. Between 1958 and 1961 the car was entered in 19 international competitions and came a way with 10 victories making it one of the most competitive Ferrari’s ever to race.

Mathew Porter is a New York based photographer who has captured the vision of many young boys who spent their childhood making hotwheels do the impossible. His series on muscle cars driving through the streets of San Francisco is fantastic. All of his work seems focused on simple composition with acute attention to lighting details.
